Dear Parents,
Week 12 Cards are posted in the Learn From Home 2020-RF Workspace. This week in science/language, the students will be working on researching and creating a Google Slide deck about a Canadian plant species that are endangered. In math, the students will be classifying three-dimensional figures by geometric properties (number of faces, edges, and vertices). Finally, the student will have the opportunity to Pray in Colour independently (just like in our last Google Meet) with a Slide deck I have created on the topic.
Students continue to be encouraged to explore the Virtual Classroom in the Workspace (an online learning environment where they can click on an object in our classroom to enhance and extend learning.
To stay connected, have your child continue to add their thoughts, ideas, and creations to our Class Padlet: "Be Community" added to our workspace, as well as our Virtual Puzzle!
We will have a class check-in (Google Meet) on Friday, June 12 at 11:00 am theme/topic: Virtual Bingo! I will email the invitation (link for the Meet) to the students on Friday morning.
