*School Lenten Project:  We are supporting the OK Clean Water Project for villages in Kumbo, Africa for access to fresh water. We are encouraging our students to complete chores at home every night for a quarter each day to help support this initiative. Contributions can be placed on SchoolCashOnline in addition to cash donations brought to school. Information regarding the school project can also be found on our school website.

*Science Family Night - Tuesday, March 26th 6:00pm-8:00pm
Scientists in School is very excited to organize a Family Science Night! Funding for this evening is supported by our School Council. The Open House style allows families to come and go as their schedule permits. Come as a family to explore, discover and participate together in a variety of fun science and math activities. All our activities use everyday materials so learning can easily extend beyond the workshop into your home. Discover some nifty ideas for incorporating science and math into baking, backyard explorations, neighbourhood excursions, and play. Information has been sent home with your child. Parents need to accompany their children for this event.

*Pathways to French Gr 4-6 forms are due back to school this Thursday (Feb. 28). The two options are the extended program (25%) and the immersion program (50%). Please check your preference as and return your form to school by Feb. 28, 2019.
*Our first Swim to Survive session is next Friday March 8. Thank you for sending in the signed persmission form.
* Please have your child work on a Practice EQAO assignment in Prodigy. Usernames and passwords were sent home.

*Students will be coming home with Swim to Survive information and a permission form. The dates are March 8, 22, 29. Please return forms by Mar. 1.
